Playing and Stalling

Emma has gotten better about stalling for bed. It is so hard to
put her to bed when she wants to play and give hugs and kisses.

Gymboree

I got a free week at Gymboree and Emma loved it. If I wasn't so cheap I would sign Emma up for the art class. I just have a hard time paying $70 for 4 classes (about 1 hour each) a month. That's like $18 a class. I just can't do it, but Emma loved the art class. And actually I really enjoyed doing it with her too. I just need to get a easel and paints and do it here at home. For $70 I should be able to get a lot of art supplies.

First Hair Cut

I know, your asking, Emma doesn't have much hair why get a haircut, but it was all scraggly and fizzy. So someone suggested I have it trimmed and evened out. It really seemed to help. Her first haircut was kind of expensive, more than I spend on my own hair cut, but she was able to sit in an airplane and watch Elmo, does it get any better than that?

Sorry

Sorry all, I'm behind on her blog. I get a lot of pictures all at once and then I feel overwhelmed and don't add post. So, I will try to catch up!

Apple chips

Uh oh, now it starts, putting things in open orifices. Tonight Emma was eating some Apple chips, dehydrated apple pieces, while Kevin and I were cleaning up the kitchen after dinner. Anyways, Emma said "mama, apple chips, nose" as she was shoving a piece in her right nares. Oh just great! I go over to her chair and tell her not to put apple chips in her nose, I tilt her head back and guess what, there is a small apple chip in her left nares! Aaaaaahhh. Luckily I was able to pull it out, I am so glad she didn't inhale it or something. Ewww. She got into big trouble. I guess I need to be more careful now.

Music Time

Emma loves playing with music. One of our places that we visit has a music time and Emma enjoys playing with the music and dancing with the scarfs.

Easter Bunny

Ok, so Emma didn't care for the Easter Bunny at all, just like Santa, she doesn't care for anyone in costume. She started crying the minute I set her on the bunny's lap and walked away.

Easter Egg Hunt

Emma was a little slow on figuring out how to do the Easter Egg Hunt. She wanted to play with each egg first before she picked up another one. It took another child picking up all the eggs around her to figure out, "oh, I better speed it up or I won't get any eggs to play with".

Arboretum

We took Emma to the Arboretum today for her Easter pictures. She did not want to cooperate with sitting still, I can't imagine why, maybe because she is two! It was a bit chilly today so she needed to wear the sweater over her Easter dress, but I still think she looks cute. Here are some of my favorite, we got a lot of really cute pictures!
