Friends at the park

We met at the park with our friends today. We tried to get 4 children b/w 18mo and 2 years old to sit still and smile so we could take a picture. Yeah, well, here are a few of the best ones. It was cute, I showed Emma the picture and said "who's this". Emma said there were two Emma's and two Maddy's in the picture! It was funny.

MeMa's Birthday

For my mom's 50th birthday I have planned for 50 different friends or family to give her a gift every day for 50 day's before her birthday. Emma was the first day. So we went in to surprise her and start the birthday celebration. We decorated her door and had cupcakes. She was very surprised. Here are a few pictures from today.

Windy

I rolled the window down while we were driving home the other day and Emma thought it was the neatest thing! She laughed so much.

Over the hills and through the woods...

To Gigi's house we go. We traveled to my grandparents house for a family reunion this last weekend. We left on Friday night thinking that Emma would sleep the 8 hr trip. Ummm, no. She took a hour nap and was up until 2:30am when we got there. Although we were all exhausted she was so good! On the way back she only napped for 20 min and then finally fell asleep the last hour of the trip. She wasn't quite as happy on the way home sitting in her car seat the whole time. Towards the end she kept saying "up, up". It was kindof sad. Here are some pictures of Emma with her great uncle David, Great grandma (Gigi) and Great grandpa (Papa), and her great aunt DeAnna.

Packing

We are going on vacation so we pulled out the suitcases. Emma thought they were some kind of ride. She wanted them to move and go. It was funny.

Dancing in the rain, I'm dancing in the rain....

It was sprinkling tonight so I was being spontaneous and let Emma play in the rain. She thought it was a blast. I am trying to be more spontaneous lately.

Pee pee on the potty!

I bought a book about peeing on the potty, thinking it may keep her sitting longer. Yeah right!

Giggles and laughs

Emma and I were playing on the couch and she was in such a good mood so I cracked out the camera. She is the cutest baby ever!

Groceries

At one of our grocery store they have these neat cars attached to the shopping cars and you know how much Emma loves to drive so I thought I would give it a try. Emma loved it and it kept her busy an quite. She loved to honk to horn.

Grapefest

Laura and I took our girls to the Grapefest today. It was so much fun. They had a ton of stuff for the girls to do. We shopped around and then let them play in the kid area. The kid area included tricycles, big legos, crayons, a petting zoo, bounce house, and a kid train. It was so much fun and the girls loved it. We wished that it was available all year long, not just for this few short days. Here are some really cute pictures of all of us on the train, the petting zoo, and the girls playing.
