We found this really great place where the girls can play, and play they do! They can play for 2 hours together without getting bored! It's been great!
We went shopping at Target for some more shoes for Emma because she has outgrown everything else. She tried on these pink boots and loved them! I didn't end up buying the boots. I bought three other shoes instead. Emma still looks cute in them anyways! And of course, since Emma tried on the boots her friend, Maddy, wanted to try them on too! They looked so cute!
Tonight at dinner Emma asked for her milk that was out of reach. As I have been teaching Emma her manners over the last few months I asked her "what do you say?". She usually says "pleeeese". Tonight she said "pleese, tank you, u welcome", all at the same time. It was so funny. I guess she is picking up what I am teaching her, she just needs to work on when to say everything.
Emma now has a full set up to have a dinner party. The table and chairs, plenty of toy "dinner guest", a shopping cart to "buy" food for the dinner party, plates, pots and pans, and a ton of imagination. She loves making "soup". I don't know why, but that is what she always offer to me to eat, even though she has never had soup to eat herself. She is just a joy to play with!
Emma's room is decorated in Dr. Seuss. A friend of mine wanted to see some pictures of the room, so I thought I would include them on her blog also. I just love her room, I think it is so bright, fun, and cute.
Look closely at the jewelry container by the clock. Kevin and I made that on our cruise when Emma turned one, we put her footprint on the lid with green paint and wrapped it around the side. Cool huh? Don't forget you can click on an image to make it bigger.
We designed all these pictures except the last two.
